Fay McGrew, M.A. Certified Qigong Teacher, Adjunct Faculty, Palomar College with over 38 years experience studying various mind body meditation practices with Masters from the Orient, Fay effectively conveys modern meaning of these ancient traditions to Westerners. Since 1995, Fay introduced Qigong to San Diegoeans, initiating programs at Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine, Chopra Center for Well Being, UCSD, and San Diego Cancer Center Research Institute. Her teaching style is accessible and personal.

How to Sell Like a Professional If you are new to selling, have some experience or are a business owner looking for a comprehensive understanding of sales, this course is designed for you. This Selling Skills Workshop will help you sell your products or services and gain a better understanding of the sales process. This one day sales workshop provides an introduction to the world of sales and selling. Participants will benefit from a step by step guide on what is involved in selling and how to master the basic selling techniques. The workshop introduces the basic concepts of selling, various sales situations that may arise and covers the necessary skills and techniques to help deal with said situations.

Crash Course in Cake Decorating
This class is for beginners who want to learn the basics of cake decorating in one night. Students will watch as Linda demonstrates tricks on how to split, fill, and ice a beautifully smooth cake with no crumbs! After the demo, students will get to work with hands-on practicing on cake boards to learn all the basic techniques for decorating simple cakes and cupcakes using buttercream. We will cover several types of borders, stars, drop flowers, lattice work, stems and leaves as well as the basic cupcake swirl. We will also learn basketweave, sotas, dots, beaded border and more as time permits. Flowers will not be covered except drop flowers. You will need to bring 3 plastic or paper pastry bags, 3 couplers and the following tips: #4, #16, #48, #104, #107, #349, #352, #1E. Frosting will be provided by the instructor.
