High School Diploma / GED
Students in need of a high school diploma must register in the Adult School Office beginning August 26th. There will be an orientation meeting on August 26th from 5-7pm. If you are a new student, please bring a transcript from the last school you attended so that we may evaluate your prior work. For additional information and credit requirements please click on the link below. There will be a $25 registration fee for each subject. The next GED test will be held Nov. 1,2, 3rd. ESL/English as a Second Language
Classes for the Fall begin Tuesday, September 7th, 2010. All NEW students must register on Aug. 30th or Aug. 31rst at 4p.m. or 6p.m. in the Adult School office.
Returning students (you have taken ESL classes with us before) will register on Sept. 1rst or Sept. 2nd. at 6p.m. only.
Students must register in person, no online registrations accepted. The classes will cost $25 per semester (Sept.-Dec.) (Feb.-June) and must be paid for during registration. Class schedule and descriptions of the levels may be viewed by clicking on the ESL Class link.
PRE-SCHOOL
San Dieguito Adult School supports a Parent Participation Pre-School. This program offers parents of three & four year olds a unique oppportunity to actively participate in their child's pre-school experience. Parents assist the teacher in the presentation of classroom activities in a fun and nurturing environment.
The first semester (18 weeks)runs from September-January. The second semester runs from Feb-June. Children attend a Tues/Thurs class or a Wed/Fri class from 8:30am to 1:30pm. Cost: $800 per semester. You may register for 4 days per week at a cost of $1600 per semester.
